DENISE ACAR

Denise is a 21-year veteran of the hair styling industry! She was also one of the very first hairstylists to open shop at Metro 2 in Des Peres. Denise's welcoming personality and genuine care for her clients has been crucial to her longevity in this business!

In her own words: “I feel like I became a true hairdresser when I started my business at Metro Design. I was no longer under someone else's ideas of what my career path should be. I had the freedom to create a schedule and environment that suited both my family and work life. As my life has changed over the past 13 years, the Metro family has been a pleasant constant. I love having  my business at Metro.“

Specialty: “I really love cutting shorter hair!”

Favorite Beauty Products: “I am  a product junkie. I like a few pieces from several lines. Lately, I've  been using mousse like it was the 80s. I do love the Creme Parfait mousse from Scrupples.“

Education/Advance Classes: Aveda, Logics, Lanza, Toni&Guy, Vidal Sasoon, Pivot Point, and Scrupples. Denise has been an educator for Scrupples, and did a small amount of platform work.
